This property offers a term lease which converts to a month-to-month rental agreement. We accept applications year round. As this property uses a term converting to a month-to-month type of lease, we are not sure of availability until 30 days before a current resident vacates their apartment. Applications are encouraged for June occupancy beginning in January due to extensive waiting lists for this time of the year. Please call to check availability of apartments.
For us to hold an apartment when it becomes available you must be approved and we must have a deposit check in hand. We will deposit the check when you confirm that you want a particular apartment.
We will hold an apartment 5 to 10 days, with the amount of hold time depending solely on how much preparation is necessary for you to move in. If the apartment that you select has an earlier available date than you want, you will still have to begin paying rent when the Property Manager deems it move-in ready. We attempt to match available dates to your preferred move-in date, but we will not hold apartments without rent being due longer than is noted. You should always be careful to choose an apartment that closely matches your move-in date.
This is a popular property and is usually full by late May for the upcoming academic year. There are no guarantees that apartments will be available for July or August occupancy. 95% of apartments available for summer and fall occur in late May and early June until thirty days in advance.
In Chico, if you are expecting to find an apartment in August, just before CSU, Chico or Butte College begin their Fall Semester, you could likely find yourself with a housing problem. Also, rental agreements for properties close to Chico State tend to have fixed term leases, but this property offers you more flexibility with a term lease which converts to a month-to-month rental agreement.
